HEAL Model with Third Party Finance
While initially designed for privately owned enterprises, HEAL has now developed a companion model for municipalities, government-owned entities and others with restrictions on making employee loans. By working with credit unions, the program is able to provide a source for low-interest loans , without the employer/employee loan mechanism. Contact HEAL for more information.
HEAL is designed to be replicated and scaled on a national and international level. The two-year pilot program (to be completed December 31, 2011) is currently documenting its findings and will produce a template that will be used to expand and improve the program in Arkansas and beyond.
